The Role in a Nutshell
We are looking for a proactive, organised, and football-loving individual to join the Mental Health World Cup team. As the UK’s largest 5-a-side charity football event, we have a massive May ahead of us with four major events on the horizon at Watford, QPR, Everton and Millwall.
This isn't just an admin role; it’s a chance to be the engine room of a growing charity. You will support the heavy lifting of event logistics, ensuring that when the whistle blows, everything from team sheets to schedules is perfect.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Logistics & Admin: Managing team registrations, player data, and event documentation.
* Data Management: Using Excel to track logistics, budgets, and participant info with high precision.
* Communication: Acting as a key point of contact for teams and partners, providing clear and enthusiastic updates.
* Event Support: Working closely with the core team to ensure all four May events are executed seamlessly.
* Problem Solving: Being the proactive \"safe pair of hands\" who spots a deadline before it becomes an issue.
The Essentials (Must-Haves)
* The Passion: You genuinely care about mental health advocacy and have a love for the beautiful game.
* The Skills: You are a \"power user\" of Excel. If you love a VLOOKUP or a clean pivot table, you’re our person.
* The Experience: Proven track record in event management or high-level coordination.
* The Vibe: You are deadline-focused, a self-starter, and a brilliant communicator who can talk to anyone from corporate sponsors to local teams.
Contract Details
* Rate: £18 per hour.
* Hours: 20 hours per month (with potential for growth as the charity expands).
* Duration: Ongoing
* Location: Remote/Flexible (with a preference for those who can engage with the UK-wide growth).
Why Join Us?
The Mental Health World Cup is more than just a tournament; it’s a movement. While this starts as a part-time contract, we have big goals for the future. You’ll be joining at a pivotal moment as we scale our impact across the UK.
\"Football is the hook, but mental health is the heart. We need someone who can manage the details so we can change the lives.\"
