As a team we support and assess members of our community. We deliver Care Act Assessments and Reviews to ensure the correct levels of support and information is provided.
As a Social Worker within the team you will be working with an highly experienced team comprising of Social Workers and Social Care practitioners.
This role may not be eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route; please refer to the Direct Gov website for more information with regards to eligibility.

Job responsibilities
The post holder is requiredto discharge statutory social care functions on behalf of the organisation andto uphold the standards outlined in the Professional Capabilities Framework forSocial Work. As such, they are required to undertake complex and proportionateassessments that are evidence-based. Examples include mental capacityassessments and health and social care assessments of people who have a varietyof needs that may create a high level of risk to their wellbeing. The postholder is also required to arrange and review the delivery of social caresupport.
Wherever possible the postholder is required to support people to take risks in complex situations sothat their outcomes and wishes are promoted. The post holder is also requiredto undertake safeguarding investigations and consider decisions made in apersons best interest that may deprive them of their liberty.

* Degree, Masters or recognised equivalent in Social Work
* Social Work England registration
Experience
* Experience, Knowledge & QualificationsBand 5 (ASYE)
* Degree or equivalent in Social Work e.g. DipSW, CQSW, CSS
* Commitment to work towards the successful completion of the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE)
* Registration with Social Work England as a social worker
* Certificate of Registration

* Ongoing training and evidence of continuous professional development
