Pay: £95 - £120 per day (depending on experience)

Are you from a sports, coaching, youth work or behaviour support background and looking to make a real impact in education?
Empowering Learning are working with a range of primary and secondary schools across the Wirral who are seeking resilient, energetic and passionate SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs, including SEMH, autism, ADHD and challenging behaviour.
The Role
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
Managing behaviour and promoting positive engagement strategies
Using sports, coaching or activity-based approaches to build relationships
Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to support learning and development
Creating a safe, structured and supportive classroom environment
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
Background in sports coaching, mentoring, youth work, or behaviour support
Experience working with children or young people with SEND or SEMH needs
Strong behaviour management skills and resilience
A calm, patient and proactive approach
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners
