THE COMPANY: This international organisation is a manufacturer of some of the UK's best quality medical devices, consumables, and equipment! They have won multiple awards for product innovation meaning that you will be joining a business at the cutting edge of medical technology.

THE ROLE:

As Business Development Manager for Scotland, your core responsibility will be driving new business growth across NHS and private hospitals, while also managing and nurturing existing key accounts.

You will be expected to identify, develop, and convert new opportunities by building strong relationships with surgeons, consultants, theatre managers, theatre nurses, and procurement teams. A major focus will be expanding market share through the promotion and sale of a leading portfolio of orthopaedic products, including implants, tools, and software - with much of your activity centred in the operating theatre environment.

Comprehensive product training will be provided to ensure you have the technical knowledge and confidence to succeed. This role offers excellent earning potential, with a bonus structure designed to reward high performance and new business wins.

Given the fast-paced and unpredictable nature of theatre work, flexibility is essential - this is not a typical 9-to-5 position. In return, the rewards are significant for individuals who are ambitious, resilient, and committed to developing new business opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Candidates should have new business sales experience with a hunter mentality and a passion for new business wins

· Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology gained through formal education (e.g. nursing, sports science, physiotherapy etc.)

· Confident and engaging personality with a team player mentality.

The Package for the Business Development Manager:

· Basic: £40,000-£60,000 DOE

· Bonus: £30,000 uncapped

· Car: Fully expensed company car

· Benefits: Pension, mobile, laptop, 25 days holiday + stats
