Sales Development Representative (SDR) - Employee Wellness, Benefits & Insurance
About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Development Representative to manage the early stages of the sales process. The SDR will qualify leads, initiate contact, and ensure a smooth handover to the sales team. This role is essential in driving growth by converting marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) into sales-qualified leads (SQLs).
Key Responsibilities
* Quickly qualify inbound leads and ensure rapid follow-up within 24 hours
* Engage prospects from campaigns, events, and online channels via calls, emails, and demos
* Research and identify decision-makers for targeted outreach
* Maintain accurate CRM records and manage the lead pipeline
* Collaborate with marketing and sales to align lead handling and share insights
* Provide regular updates on lead conversion metrics and performance
* Use Salesforce (or similar CRM) to manage tasks and track engagement
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in sales development or a similar lead generation role
* Skilled in outbound and inbound lead engagement
* Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
* Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
* Target-driven with a track record of meeting KPIs
* Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
* Background in employee wellness, insurance, or benefits is a plus
