We are looking for a enthusiastic and self-motivated Business Administrator to provide support to Education Division Assessment and Planning team. We are part of a Local Authority dedicated to championing change for children.
You will be the first point of contact with parents/carers, students, agencies, schools and staff so will ensure the first impression given is of the highest standard whether in person or over the telephone. If you enjoy working in administration in a fast-paced environment and want to further this by providing a valuable role in public service, then we would love to hear from you.
Our Business Administrators play a vital role in supporting the Council - helping us provide a better service to the people of East Sussex. It's fast-paced and varied, but we'll make sure you get all the training and support you need to succeed.
The successful candidate will work in our Children's Services Department providing high level administrative support to our Assessment and Planning Team who support children and young people with Special Educational Needs, and their families, in East Sussex. You will need great organisational skills, accurate minute taking skills, have the ability to work under pressure, excellent communication and MS Office skills and a desire to make a difference to the families we work with.

Interviews are scheduled for Monday 1 December 2025 and will be in the form of a face-to-face interview, followed by a task. This will be in County Hall, Lewes.
