Job Title: Goods Inwards Operator
Salary: £32,700
Location: Stockton-on-Tees, Cleveland
Contract: Maternity Cover
As a Goods Inwards Operator, you play a crucial role in the supply chain, ensuring that all incoming goods are received, checked, and stored accurately and efficiently.
What You Will Do
As a Goods Inwards Operator, your accountable for, but not limited to:
* Receiving Goods: Accurately receive and log all incoming shipments, ensuring that delivery documentation matches the actual goods received.
* Inspection: Inspect goods for quality and quantity, reporting discrepancies or damages in the correct manner according to the standard work.
* Data Entry: Enter received goods into inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock levels.
* Storage Management: Organize and store goods in designated areas, ensuring easy access and compliance with safety regulations.
* Inventory Control: Ensure consumables stock is always correct to maintain the MIN/MAX ordering system.
* Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as purchasing and logistics, to resolve any issues related to incoming goods and invoice grief.

What You Can Demonstrate
* Fork Lift Truck License
* The ability to read, write, comprehend and follow verbal instructions
* Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations to perform the duties described above.
* Ability to understand standard works and follow direction. Job is performed in accordance with procedures and instructions.
* Proficient with the computers

* Able to work as a team and also communicate effectively with Management.
