Overview
A gentleman is looking for a personal assistant to support him to live an independent life on a day-to-day basis.
As a personal assistant you will be required to provide support in a range of areas including but not limited to:
Responsibilities
* Support with picking up medication, shopping and socialising. Able to plan routes and be comfortable on public transport. Driver with a clean driver\'s licence would be an advantage.
* Provide reassurance and prompts around daily routine, personal hygiene, getting dressed, cooking, maintaining habitable home and managing safety around the house. Support with sequencing and task planning.
* Assist with admin tasks such as managing medical appointments and letters.
Qualifications / Qualities
* Looking for someone to be open to get to know me, to be understanding, patient and flexible. Reliable and punctual.
* Experience of working as a Personal assistant with people with brain injury and history of substance abuse is not necessary but keen learner would be an advantage. Experience with supporting someone with schizophrenia would also be an advantage.

Shift Pattern
Hours are as above and flexible between Monday to Sunday. Times to be agreed with employer.
