This role is all about leading our work on public service innovation and transformation – bringing strategic nous, leadership experience, and a track record of securing impactful opportunities to help tackle these complex challenges head-on.
With a focus on innovation, insight and collaborative leadership, you’ll ensure our strategy is clear, our delivery is high quality, and our impact is meaningful. You’ll help shape the future of public services, positioning Capacity as a trailblazer in the field.
You’ll bring 5+ years of leadership experience in public service delivery and 7+ years working in transformation, service design, consultancy or change management. You’ve led complex programmes, applied strategic thinking to drive direction, and secured contracts or funded work through strong proposals and relationships.

Lead public service innovation at Capacity—setting direction and driving measurable impact.
Stay current on public sector trends and develop ‘system-level’ responses to emerging challenges.
Foster learning and knowledge-sharing within Capacity and client teams.
A natural leader, you’ll have people-management experience and a track record of developing and nurturing talent, leading a team of up to 5 to deliver on our promises to clients and local people.
