Junior Import Operations – Freight Forwarding

We’re working with a well-established freight forwarder in Egham who are looking to bring in a Junior Import Operations Executive to grow and develop within their imports team.
This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years’ UK freight forwarding experience who wants proper training and progression into a confident, start-to-finish import freight forwarder.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting the import operations team with end-to-end shipments
* Assisting with customs entries and import documentation
* Liaising with airlines, hauliers, overseas agents, and customers
* Tracking shipments and managing job files
* Learning the full process from arrival through to final billing
What they’re looking for:
* 1–2 years’ experience within UK freight forwarding (imports preferred)
* Basic understanding of import processes and customs
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
* Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
