About the role: An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Bakery Training team. The role is full time and permanent. The bakery trainer is responsible for providing support to the People Development Manager in ensuring all factory based, on the job training is carried out to a competent level. Key responsibilities of the role include: Support the development of work instructions for all areas of the manufacturing process. Manage the work instruction documentation to ensure it’s up to date. Use the assigned training database to generate a robust reporting system for monitoring progress. Ensure training promotes personal and product safety at all times. Ensure training promotes efficient working. Using the above to make informed assessments of individual training plans. Carry out direct training as required to the shop floor team. Deliver the e-Learning programme across the business. Continually review the quality of training and update as necessary. About you You will be experienced within production and operations, ideally with in depth knowledge of bakery processes and procedures. We are looking for candidates who are experienced in training and imparting knowledge to embed learning and are organised to ensure that training records are accurate at all times. You will need to be an excellent communicator to engage colleagues with training and ensure that vital work instructions are understood.
