Practice Manager – Taunton
Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent (Contract). Shift Pattern: Days (44 hours per week).
Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and develop the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient experience and patient safety.
* Manage the store Pharmacist and Pharmacy colleagues, supporting achievement of pharmacy targets and deadlines.
* Ensure compliance with GPhC operating standards and clinical governance.
* Provide support and development for direct reports and locums, maintaining professional customer service standards.
* Work collaboratively with in‑store, regional and home office teams to deliver clinical and service advice.
* Handle situational challenges, maintain solid connections with store and field teams.
Qualifications
* Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
* Accredited to deliver national and local services for the NHS and private healthcare.
* Experience balancing line manager responsibilities with active pharmacy practice.
* Evidence of right to work in the UK and safeguarding qualifications.
* Subject to DBS check and enrollment in the live update service; proof of qualifications and identity required.
Rota
* Week1: Saturday 09:00‑20:00, Monday 09:00‑20:00, Tuesday 09:00‑20:00, Wednesday 09:00‑20:00.
* Week2: Monday 09:00‑20:00, Tuesday 09:00‑20:00, Thursday 09:00‑20:00, Friday 09:00‑20:00.
