Responsibilities
Your duties will include: provide an efficient, high quality domestic service to patients and staff, following a specific schedule of work relating to defined areas. Duties include cleaning all areas of hospital clinical and non-clinical locations. Activities will include wet mopping, vacuuming, emptying bins, replenishing supplies, cleaning fixtures and furniture, and toilet/bathroom areas. A flexible approach to daily routine is required. You will use cleaning agents safely and in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions. In some roles you may be required to use mechanical cleaning equipment. You are required to wear protective clothing provided by the department and complete all daily/weekly sign-off sheets for areas of work.
