About The Role
EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. We are looking to recruit a Site Engineer to join our team based at Greatworth.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible on site for other junior engineers and assist in construction operations in the Southam area.
* Liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to carry out works activities to the required standards, programme and budget.
* Work with the setting‑out team, develop junior engineers, and identify and resolve technical problems on site in liaison with the senior team and Sub‑Agent.
* Monitor and coordinate subcontractors to ensure work meets contractual requirements.
* Assist with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contribute to financial forecasting.
About You
* HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent and working towards institute membership (ICE).
* Must hold a CSCS – White, White‑Yellow, Red – Experienced, Black – Manager or Gold – Supervisor.
* Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
* Experience in earthworks is essential.
* Must hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
