Chemistry Lecturer (A Level) – Part Time
Location: Birmingham
Hours: hours per week
Contract: Initial 2‑week contract, with potential to extend

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced A Level Chemistry Lecturer to join a well‑established college in Birmingham on a part‑time basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in teaching Chemistry in a classroom environment and the confidence to deliver high‑quality lessons to A Level learners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver engaging and well‑structured A Level Chemistry lessons.
2. Support learners through clear explanations, practical demonstrations, and effective assessment.
3. Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
4. Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
Requirements
5. Experience teaching A Level Chemistry in a classroom setting (essential).
6. Strong subject knowledge and ability to adapt teaching methods to meet learner needs.
7. Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) preferred but not always essential depending on Experience.
8. Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
