Our client is a well-established business delivering innovative, integrated and sustainable logistics solutions across warehousing, haulage and reworking. The Transport Manager will oversee all transport activity and ensure the efficient and safe movement of goods, compliance with regulations and effective management of their fleet and drivers. The Role: * Ensure that all vehicles are regularly serviced and inspected and that repairs are completed to maintain roadworthiness * Lead, motivate and manage a team * Recruit, train and supervise drivers, ensuring they hold valid licenses and adhere to company policies * Maintain compliance with all transportation regulations * Keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance and driver hours etc * Manage budgets, optimise routes and improve overall operational efficiency * Develop and implement safety policies and procedures * Coordinate with clients to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
