Flexible Healthcare Assistant – Bank Staff
Derby Health Staffing (DHS) is looking for enthusiastic, caring individuals to join our bank and support clinical staff in all areas of patient care across the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust (UHDB) sites.
Responsibilities / Key Duties
* Provide reliable, motivated and enthusiastic support to clinical teams.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
* Attend face‑to‑face training days prior to commencement and complete required e‑learning modules.
Eligibility and Requirements
* Recognized qualification in care: NVQ/QCF, Health & Social Care Apprenticeship, BTEC, Care Certificate or Access to Healthcare.
* Provide original photographic ID and original care qualification certificate; photocopies or online documentation are not accepted.
* If holding a Care Certificate, a completed competency assessment workbook must also be presented.
* Availability for literacy and numeracy assessment on 22 April 2026; alternative dates will not be offered.
