Drainage Maintenance Engineer Reactive & Planned Maintenance Location: Abingdon, Oxford Salary: £ 17.50 basic with overtime and callout Job Type: Full-time / Permanent About the Role We are looking for an experienced and motivated Drainage Maintenance Engineer to join our clients growing team carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance works across commercial, industrial, and residential sites. This is a mobile role suited to someone who is hands-on, reliable, and experienced in diagnosing and resolving drainage issues while delivering high standards of customer service. This division is brand new to the company and has great career progression opportunities to grow and lead a team Key Responsibilities Carry out reactive drainage repairs and emergency callouts Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on drainage systems Investigate blockages, leaks, and drainage faults High-pressure water jetting and system cleansing CCTV drainage surveys and fault identification Maintenance and minor repairs to drainage infrastructure Complete job reports and maintenance records accurately Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures Provide professional customer service on-site Requirements Previous experience as a drainage maintenance engineer or utilities maintenance Knowledge of reactive and planned maintenance procedures Experience with jetting equipment and drainage systems CCTV survey experience desirable Full UK driving licence Good problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Confined Space and HPWJ certifications required What We Offer Great salary and overtime opportunities Ongoing training and career development Company vehicle Holiday package that increases annually JDR is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
