Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher: Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and differentiated lessons across EYFS–KS2. Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued. Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, identifying areas for development. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil learning and well-being. Contribute to the wider school community and uphold safeguarding responsibilities. To be successful as a Primary Teacher, you should: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are encouraged to apply. Experience teaching across EYFS, KS1, or KS2. Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills. Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.
