Overview
The Community Dental Service has an exciting opportunity for a registered dental nurse who has a passion for working with vulnerable and medically complex patients. As an award‑winning service we offer high‑quality dental care to people who are unable to access a ‘high street’ NHS dentist, due to their additional needs. The post holder will provide chairside support to our Consultants, Specialists, Dentists and Dental Therapists.
The role includes opportunities to develop skills to support clinicians when providing specialised care such as inhalation sedation, domiciliary care and work within the hospital theatre setting. The Service provides mandatory training and clinical supervision to support you in maintaining the General Dental Council, CPD requirements. A competency‑based induction programme supports your development within the service.
