Responsibilities
* Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
* Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted.
* Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining a high standard of presentation and cleanliness.
* Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience.
* Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times.
* Handle payments accurately using the POS system and process transactions promptly.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
* Manage multiple tables effectively through excellent time management skills.
* Assist with basic food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff as required.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures is advantageous.
* Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions confidently.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods.

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
