Two Magpies Bakery is a family run small group of cafes now branching across Suffolk & Norfolk. We are currently developing a new production unit and looking to build on our already great team. We are looking for a Baker to join our small team of Night Bakers. The night role consists of baking bread, vienoisserie as well as the delicate finishing of artisan doughnuts & danishes.
A successful candidate will have a passion for baking (ideally sourdough) & a desire to continue to learn and better our product range.
You will have a 'can do' attitude and maintain a cool head at peak times. Naturally, we have busier periods than others so you would be required to self manage & work well under pressure. On night shifts, you will have to work in an organised manner to get the volume ready in time for our drivers to leave to deliver product to site.
Outside of the day to day operations there are opportunities to work with the senior team on product development to keep our range as seasonal and interesting as possible. Being innovative & forth coming with ideas and trials is crucial.
We are currently operating our night shifts from 6pm-3am/8pm-5am but some flexibility in this is required in order to cover holidays and training needs of the team.
45 hours over 5 days. 2 consecutive days off provided. 6pm-3am, 8pm- 5am
