Job Summary
DME is a growing company based in South Shields where we have a design and manufacturing premises. Our work is based around the marine and offshore sector providing bespoke equipment (back-deck and subsea control systems) to industry leading operators.
We are looking for a Project Engineer to aid with the manufacturing and production of bespoke equipment designed by ourselves. The ideal candidate will have a background in Engineering within the oil and gas/subsea or similar manufacturing industry sectors.

* 2 years relevant experience within a similar industry sector. Engineering graduates with suitable experience are also welcome to apply for the role.
Responsibilities
As a Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting our clients and delivering successful outcomes. Your work will be varied and rewarding, including:
* Client support and project management, including site visits for meetings and build support
* Assisting with equipment assembly, procurement, and manufacturing processes
* Coordinating with suppliers, managing deliveries, and maintaining quality standards
* Supporting HSE management in our workshop
* Preparing technical documentation, from specifications to manuals and risk assessments
* Managing logistics such as goods in/out, shipments, and exports
* Stepping in where needed to support both our clients and the wider business
This is a wide-ranging role that will give you direct responsibility and exposure to delivery of engineering projects from £50k to >£1m.
