To put it simply, this is a highly targeted, sales-focused position. Like all sales roles, it is challenging and requires hard work. However, if you stay motivated and focused, it can be one of the most highly rewarded roles at Homebase.
Day to day, your main goal will be to offer our customers exceptional service by selling them a new kitchen, bathroom, or bedroom from our range.
To do this, you will need to call customers to follow up on leads, arrange appointments, produce quotes, carry out home visits, and use your creativity and expert selling skills to ensure they leave with the best room solution for their homes.
You will have support from your store manager, divisional sales manager, and our L&D teams, who will provide training and guidance. Ultimately, the responsibility for your performance lies with you.
What we are looking for in our Sales Consultant:
* Sales Experts: Proven closers who can build strong relationships and sell the best products.
* Confidence: Ability to follow up leads and book appointments, not afraid to speak to new people on the phone.
* Creativity: Use your interior design flair to create designs using CAD that customers will love.
* Self-Motivated: As the saying goes, "You get out what you put in," and this role is no exception.
