Based in, Havant, this part-time role (25–30 hours per week) will support the Head of People in delivering consistent, high-quality HR advice and ensuring the practical application of employment law across the organisation. Reporting into the Head of People you will play a key role in resolving ER matters, supporting managers, and proactively identifying trends and themes to drive early intervention and positive outcomes. Some of your responsibilities will include: Coaching and advising line managers on all aspects of employee relations, focusing on early resolution and restorative practice Leading complex ER casework including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, performance, capability, absence and hearings Monitoring and managing sickness and absence, overseeing Stage 1–3 meetings and driving a consistent approach Developing line managers through training, workshops and proactive ER initiatives Supporting organisational change, including restructures, job design and TUPE, ensuring legal and sensitive delivery Contributing to the development and review of HR policies in line with employment law and best practice Overseeing and supporting the HR Advisor, ensuring accuracy, delivery and ongoing development About you: You will be at least CIPD Level 5 qualified have a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle. You will be an experienced ER professional with in-depth employment law knowledge, confident in handling complex and sensitive cases with compassion, resilience and professionalism. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple complex cases while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. A positive, non-judgemental mindset, strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to make difficult decisions are essential. The role is offering a salary of up to £39,370 (pro rata/DOE) and is based in Havant.
