A South Manchester based Accountancy firm are seeking to recruit an experienced Payroll Clerk to join their team. This firm provides a generalist accountancy services to their clients. Their clients are mostly owner managed businesses and sit within a varied range of industries. This is a friendly and supportive firm and will be the perfect opportunity for an experienced candidate wanting a varied role within an established firm.
Your new role
As Payroll Clerk, you will provide support in the efficient and effective processing of payrolls for around 120 clients. You will manage and process payrolls and establish good working relationships with clients. You will also support the firm with a range of ad hoc duties such as general administrative duties and supporting clients with payroll and more general queries.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in payroll within a practice environment. You will need excellent organisational and time management skills as you will need to be able to work to tight deadlines. You will need to work as part of an effective team and have excellent customer service skills.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be offered apetitive salary between £22,000 and £27,000 dependent on experience. You will be a part of a friendly and supportive firm. You will have access to apetitive firm wide benefits package including holidays, pension contributions, and freepany parking.
