Avalon Sciences Ltd is an established successful, dynamic company that designs and manufactures specialist equipment for the geothermal, carbon capture, and oil and gas exploration industries.
As an Accounts Executive, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of our organisation.
Responsibilities will include:
Daily bookkeeping tasks in a number of currencies to ensure the accuracy of financial records
Processing invoices
Reconciling bank statements and assisting in the preparation of financial reports
Collaborating with vendors and customers both in the UK and overseas to address billing and payment inquiries and dealing with credit control
Processing foreign exchange and managing VAT
Providing support during internal and external audits
Assisting in maintaining compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Utilising accounting software and spreadsheet tools for data entry and analysis
Working collaboratively with the finance team and our overseas bases
Undertaking general administrative tasks as needed
Candidates must have:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Effective and proactive communication skills for interactions with team members, vendors, and customers
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Willingness to take on additional tasks as needs arise
AAT or be qualified by experience.
