Part‑Time Senior Surveyor (Residential & Commercial Valuations)
Location: Stoke‑on‑Trent, ST1
Working Pattern: 3 days per week (hybrid flexibility available)
Salary: £45,000 FTE salary (pro rata £27,000 for 3 days) + Car Allowance + Commission + Bonus

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to join a well‑established and collaborative team, delivering a balanced workload across commercial and residential valuation work, alongside involvement in professional services and property management support.

The Role
Commercial Valuations (20–25%)
* Red Book compliant valuations for local landlords and SIPP providers
* Market rent reports and probate valuations
* Repeat instructions from longstanding clients
Residential Valuations (Approx. 50%)
Focused primarily on housing association instructions:
* Right to Buy valuations
* Staircasing Resale and auction appraisals
* Desktop indicative valuations for S.106 schemes
* Follow‑on Red Book reports where required
These instructions are typically 15‑minute inspections – reports completed within approximately 1 hour.
Key Coverage Areas
Stoke‑on‑Trent, South Cheshire/Cheshire East, and the West Midlands (including Cannock, Stafford, Wolverhampton) Sheffield & South Yorkshire | Coventry & East Midlands | South Wales (via established residential office relationships)
Professional & Operational Support
You will also support:
* Growth of the professional services and property management departments
* Existing property management team with operational support
* Process improvement and efficiency initiatives
* Long‑term growth strategy to restore and exceed historic income levels
The Person
Our Client is seeking an experienced surveyor who can:
* Work independently and manage their own workload
* Deliver accurate valuation reports efficiently
* Integrate into a supportive, long‑established team
* Contribute to departmental growth and improvement
* Commit to a hybrid working pattern (office presence 1.5–2 days per week)
