We are currently seeking a passionate individual to take on a Women’s T1 Rugby Session Lead role as part of an exciting new Our Parks project, delivered in partnership with T1 Rugby. Location: Primarily remote (but must be able to travel to Kingston upon Thames once per week) Salary: £22,000 per year (Part-time starting salary) About the Project: This initiative will deliver a women-focused, non-contact rugby offer through Our Parks and T1 Rugby, creating inclusive and accessible pathways for women to engage with rugby in their local communities. Role Overview: The Women’s T1 Rugby Session Lead will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, inclusive T1 Rugby sessions for adult women across community park settings and club environments (with support from both Our Parks & T1 Rugby). Key Responsibilities: Deliver safe, fun, and inclusive non-contact T1 Rugby sessions for women. Support participants transitioning from digital fitness programmes into live rugby activity. Create a welcoming and supportive environment for women who are new to rugby. Work alongside Our Parks, T1 Rugby, and local rugby clubs to strengthen community pathways. Support the delivery of community hubs and family-friendly rugby festivals. Act as a positive ambassador for women’s rugby and Our Parks' values. Person Specification: Essential: Experience delivering rugby or non-contact sport sessions. Strong communication and engagement skills. A passion for increasing women’s participation in sport. The ability to deliver inclusive sessions for beginners. Desirable: A T1 Rugby or RFU coaching qualification. Experience working with adult beginners or underrepresented groups.
