Transport Supervisor – Nights £32,947.76 per annum Coleshill (Hams Hall) Temporary to Permanent Sunday–Thursday | Nights, 9pm–6am As a Transport Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our night transport operations. Supporting the Transport Manager, you’ll oversee drivers, maintain compliance, and keep our network moving efficiently. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential. Your responsibilities will include: Allocating drivers and managing daily activity. Processing driver wages, holidays, and compliance paperwork. Monitoring unauthorised stops and ensuring accurate completion of driver records. Coordinating agency bookings, costs, and compliance. Managing driver working time and driving time directives using Excel. Organising vehicle inspections, MOTs, and defect reporting. Recording RTAs and near misses, and ensuring health & safety standards. Ordering site fuel and supporting training for drivers on electronic systems. Collaborating with peers across the network to deliver excellent service. About You Previous experience supervising in a transport or logistics setting. A solid understanding of drivers’ hours and legislation. Strong attention to detail and a “right first time” approach. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage drivers and colleagues. Good IT skills—particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. A proactive, can-do attitude, with the ability to meet deadlines and work effectively as part of a team.
