Job Opportunity: Support Worker for Students with Additional Needs
Are you currently studying at UWE or the University of Bristol? Is your field of study psychology, childhood studies, or education? Consider transforming your part-time work into a meaningful experience that aligns with your career goals.
We are seeking individuals to support students in mainstream or specialist schools, either on a full-time or part-time basis. Work hours are from 8:30 to 15:30, Monday to Friday, during term time only.
Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in working with children and be studying related fields. Previous experience supporting students is a plus, but not mandatory. We value resourcefulness, resilience, and a warm disposition that encourages children to open up.
Students may have diagnoses such as autism, ADHD, social, emotional, and mental health challenges, or Down syndrome. Support will focus on both academic progress and social development to foster independence and peer engagement.
