Job title: Senior Technical Support
Reporting to: Managing Director
Overview:
Working within our team to provide technical support to a customer network of AV Integrators and Custom Installers. Product categories include control systems, lighting, audio/video switching, and networking.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
1. Technical Support:
* Handle incoming support calls from customers
* Provide technical advice and resolve issues
* Screen share with customers when necessary
* Ensure the delivery of the best possible support service
1. Training:
* Deliver technical training courses
2. Admin/SAP:
* Enter and update service calls in SAP
* Facilitate advanced replacements and check stock
* Coordinate with vendors for replacements and ensure faulty units are returned
* Maintain accurate returns records
3. Expenses:
* Submit company credit card receipts and expenses forms by the 5th working day of each month for approval
4. Communication:
* Coordinate international shipping and liaise with vendor technical support when needed
5. Technical Marketing:
* Attend and assist at exhibitions
* Ensure latest products are installed and fully functional in demo facilities
* Recommend equipment for demonstration facilities
* Assist with technical aspects of E-Shots, marketing blurbs, and social marketing efforts
6. Behavioural Expectations:
* Maintain professionalism and respect in all interactions
* Dress appropriately according to the dress code
