Principals PA and Admissions Administrator

This is a full-time position in the Education field, located in Guildford, United Kingdom. The successful candidate will have a GCSE education.


Job Responsibilities:

* PA to the Principal:
o Maintain the Principal's diary and bring meetings and appointments to their attention
o Organise meetings for the Principal, including inviting participants
o Ensure the Principal is briefed for all meetings with relevant correspondence and documents
o Co-ordinate the agenda for Leadership Team meetings and distribute action points
o Attend and take minutes of meetings as requested by the Principal
o Act as first point of contact for visitors, staff, and students
o Arrange hospitality and refreshments for the Principal's visitors and events
o Produce and distribute the school bulletin
o Use the school's MIS system (Arbor) confidently
o Liaise with the Principal daily regarding events
o Filter telephone calls and make calls as requested by the Principal
o Attend relevant training and take responsibility for own development
o Maintain the College policy schedule
* Admissions Administrator:
o Organise and liaise with staff, students, parents/carers, and agencies to support the Admissions and Appeals process
o Work closely with teaching staff and the College Leadership Team on Admissions and Appeals matters
o Co-ordinate and manage the admissions programme for new students
o Provide advice and guidance on admissions to staff, students, parents/carers, and others
o Support the organisation of open evening arrangements and tours for new students
o Ensure prompt internal and external communication of information
o Undertake administrative tasks as directed by the line manager
o Scan documents and shred those no longer required
o Request, collate, proofread, and print reports/letters/documents as required
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on the school's management information system
o Administer the end-to-end Admissions and Appeals process
* Promotion of School Values:
o Contribute to whole school events as required
o Support and contribute to the School's commitment to safeguarding all students
o Comply with the School's duty of care and health and safety policies
o Comply with the codes of conduct, regulations, and policies of the School
* Flexibility:
o A degree of flexibility is needed to deliver the service effectively
o The post holder may be required to perform work not specifically referred to above

Job Details: Full-time, Permanent, £26,846.00-£30,481.00 per year, In person, Expected start date: 02/09/2024
