To provide a comprehensive and quality administrative service to the paediatric diabetes multidisciplinary team, including consultants, specialist nurses, psychologists & dieticians cross-site.
Main duties of the job
To maintain efficient & effective data collection systems to ensure all necessary information is available as needed.
The Paediatric Diabetes Administrator will be the focal point for co-ordinating communication with patients and GPs for the Paediatric Diabetes Team, and the initial point of contact for Team members, facilitating good communication & close working relationships between staff cross-site
To manage and prioritise own workload liaising closely with other team members as required.

Essential criteria
11. Previous Experience in an NHS admin role
12. Experience of dealing with difficult situations
Desirable criteria
13. Previous NHS experience working with an MDT
Skills, Abilities & Knowledge
Essential criteria
14. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
15. Computer literate in the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and other Office software
Education, Qualifications & Training
Essential criteria
16. PAS / Careflow trained Experience in Electronic Patient Records (EPR)
17. English Language GCE / GCSE

18. Ability to travel across sites to Stoke Mandeville & Wycombe Hospitals
