Research Executives play a crucial role in supporting the high-quality delivery of projects for our clients. Missions and objectives are centred around supporting the execution of qualitative and quantitative research projects, facilitating the on-going success of always-on research programmes, and undertaking the analysis of collected data to identify patterns and trends in contribution to the delivery of commercial insights.
A successful Research Executive demonstrates strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication abilities, and the capability to translate data into actionable insights. They are proactive, adaptable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities:
* Interact with clients to understand their objectives and priorities. Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure successful ongoing partnerships. Provide proactive communication throughout the lifecycle of projects and programmes and offer highly responsive support for clients with ad hoc queries.
* Input into the design, set up, and maintenance of research projects and programmes. Collaborate with other internal teams (Operations etc.) to ensure the successful launch and completion of fieldwork. Undertake quality assurance throughout to ensure research outcomes are high-quality and fit for purpose.
* Ownership of regular reporting deliverables. Contribution to the preparation of custom reports and insight presentations that successfully summarise research findings to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
* Develop understanding of, and experience with, different research methodologies and analysis techniques. Seek exposure to different sectors and types of research to expand knowledge ready for a promotion to research manager.
Competencies:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent.
* Positive can-do attitude, with a desire to learn new skills, and curiosity to find out more.
* Strong team player with good communication skills – liaising with different members of project teams and clients is core to the role.
* High attention to detail, and strong numeracy and literary skills.
* Experience of using Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
* Enjoy a challenge and want to succeed as part of a busy team.
Location
Hybrid working, 1-2 days per week in the office and the remaining from home - Head office based in Southampton.
