About the Role
Simply Education are currently working in partnership with an Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in the Stoke-on-Trent area. They are seeking a creative and dynamic Humanities Teacher to join their thriving Humanities department and inspire students across subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging Humanities lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Assess, record, and report on student progress and attainment.
Provide constructive feedback through marking and grading.
Maintain discipline and encourage high standards of behaviour and punctuality.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and teaching strategies.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support student development.
Key Skills & Qualities
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge in Humanities and a passion for inspiring curiosity.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Effective classroom and behaviour management techniques.
Empathy and patience, especially when working with students requiring additional support.
Essential Requirements
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Humanities in line with the national curriculum.
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable
Experience supporting students with SEN.
Commitment to inclusive education.
