We are recruiting for an Audit Senior on behalf of a well-established, dynamic accountancy practice, to join the audit and accounts team at the firm’s Banbury office. The role is available due to continued growth and will support managers and directors in providing services to longstanding and new clients.
The role will focus upon audit and assurance although some statutory accounts preparation, along with corporate and personal tax will provide some variation in workload. Clients are from a variety of sectors including not-for-profit.

As Audit Senior, your main responsibilities will include:
* Audit Planning: Identifying audit risks, setting materiality, and designing appropriate tests
* Audit Fieldwork: Guiding and developing a team, taking ownership of decisions and conclusions through professional judgment, along with ensuring audit files have appropriate andsufficientdocumentation in a clear and concise manner – delivering a positive client experience
* Concluding on key audit findings for the Director’s review
* Developing strong relationships to deliver effective audits and accounts
* Maintaining regular and effective communication with managers and the team throughout the audit process
* Managing budgets proactively and keeping the manager informed
* Prepare Limited company accounts for a variety of clients to be reviewed by Managers/Directors
* Preparation of Corporation Tax computations for review
* Preparation of personal tax returns
Please apply for the Audit Senior role if you can satisfy the following criteria:
* Qualified ACA / ACCA with a minimum of 3 years’ audit experience within a UK accountancy practice environment
* Previous experience of planning and completing audits
* Self-driven, results orientated and with a positive outlook
* A desire to learn and develop yourself and interested in supporting trainees
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Strong IT skills, ideally with a working knowledge of Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, and CCH and competent in Word and Excel
* Full driving licence and access to a vehicle to travel to client premises
