Role: QA/Test Engineer (ATM Template Development) – Location: Dundee – Grade: 10
The position is at NCR Atleos Discovery Centre R\&D site in Dundee, with a hybrid working model requiring office attendance at least three days per week. The QA Test Engineer will ensure the currency template software in ATM recycler/deposit devices meets customer requirements and maintains quality throughout development.
Key Areas of Responsibility
* Validate software builds and documentation against customer requirements.
* Apply testing processes for new and existing currency templates.
* Plan and prioritise testing activities with QA Lead.
* Analyse bugs and errors found during tests.
* Communicate findings from test results to the development team.
* Record, document and maintain QA check lists thoroughly.
* Review product documents and feed back to the development team.
* Liaise with other internal teams as required (e.g. Support, Product Management).
Required Skills & Experience
* Bachelor's Level Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
* 3+ years of professional software development experience in a commercial environment.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Good oral and written communication skills.
* Diligent and meticulous.
* Adaptable to changing priorities and tasks.
* Great team player.
Desirable (Advantageous but Not Essential)
* Use of Jira and Git version control system.
* Cash recycling device hardware experience.
