The RoleAn opportunity has arisen for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business. Working as part of a close-knit engineering team, you will play a key role in planned maintenance, reactive support, and continuous improvement initiatives to keep production running smoothly. You'll be working on Panama shift rota (2-week rotation covering days and nights, 2-2-3 pattern).Key DutiesPerform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities across plant machinery and equipmentProvide a rapid and effective response to breakdowns to minimise operational downtimeIdentify and resolve faults across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systemsWork closely with production teams to ensure optimal machine performanceAssist with improvement initiatives, including upgrades and process enhancementsAccurately log maintenance activity and ensure adherence to health & safety proceduresAbout YouHold a recognised engineering qualification (mechanical, electrical, or multi-skilled)Experienced within a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environmentStrong diagnostic and problem-solving capabilityComfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced settingProactive approach with a focus on continuous improvementStrong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and within a teamFlexible approach to working hours, including occasional additional cover when neededWhat's on OfferHealthcare cash planEmployee Assistance ProgrammeLife assurance (4x salary)6% employer pension contributionAnnual profit share schemeDiscounted gym membership = other lifestyle benefitsThe BusinessThis is a globally recognised manufacturing organisation with a strong track record of innovation, quality, and customer focus.
