Role
We are seeking a Governance Professional & Clerk to Trustees to be part of our evolving Trust. It is an administrative and advisory role to the Trust board. The postholder will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of governance effectiveness and compliance within the Trust, ensuring governance adheres to good practice and meets all statutory and regulatory requirements. The postholder will be the Company Secretary for the Trust and be responsible for the Trust’s Policy Framework. We are seeking to appoint a committed, reliable, conscientious and enthusiastic individual.
Requirements
The successful applicant will be/have:
* Extremely organised, meticulous to detail and be able to work diligently. Will have excellent time and project management skills to achieve deadlines both independently and as part of a team
* A track record of working and communicating confidently with decision making bodies
* Confidence to challenge the Trust Board to create robust accountability, oversight and assurance for the Trust’s educational and financial performance.
* You must be an experienced, strong and highly organised administrator. Experience within the educational sector is highly desirable.
