Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development and application development, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise documentation. This role requires collaboration with engineers and developers to create user manuals, technical guides, and other documentation that enhances user understanding and product usability.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
* Research and Information Gathering: Work with engineers, developers, and other technical specialists to understand complex products or systems and gather necessary information for documentation.
* Content Creation: Produce clear, concise, and factually accurate documentation, including user guides, instruction manuals, training guides, and installation instructions.
* Editing and Proofreading: Review and revise existing documents, ensuring they are up-to-date, correct, and easy to understand.
* Visual Content Development: Create and commission diagrams, illustrations, screenshots, and other visuals to support technical explanations.
* Testing and Feedback: Test newly written material with content users to ensure it meets their understanding and needs.
* Content Management: Update and maintain a library of technical information and documentation.
* Industry Awareness: Stay updated on the latest trends and developments within their specific engineering or technology field.
* Any other Duties deemed necessary by Management.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role in a software development environment.
* Previous Experience in similar role in the Crushing/Screening industry.
* Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
