Job Title: Quality Engineer - Major Projects
Location: London (NW)
Salary / Package: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience, plus benefits including:

Summary:
One of the UK's largest infrastructure contractors seeks a talented and enthusiastic Quality Engineer to work on a £1 billion Station delivery project in North West London. The role involves supporting the project team, supply chain, and others to manage quality assurance.
Responsibilities:
* Develop, document, and maintain the Quality & Construction Assurance Plan, supporting the QACH Manager and team to meet ISO 9001 standards and related procedures.
* Incorporate subcontract requirements related to quality and construction assurance into tender packages under supervision.
* Work with the project team to ensure requirements are met and authorization for works is granted.
* Collaborate with the project team, suppliers, and stakeholders to implement and maintain assurance systems, including site inspections and testing.
* Ensure timely audits and reporting.
* Investigate quality incidents, determine root causes, and prepare reports and recommendations.
* Assist in external audits to maintain certifications.
Candidate Profile:
* Practical experience in quality assurance within construction or civils industry.
* Knowledge of sector-specific standards and project-based work experience.
* Strong relationship-building skills with project teams, suppliers, and clients.
* Technical knowledge relevant to Fibre-reinforced concrete (FRC), structural steel, fit-out, MEPH.
* Ability to analyze facts, including design and manufacturer information.
* Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, including senior management.
* Inquisitive approach to auditing.
* Civil Engineering qualifications are desirable.
