They engineer and manufacture safety controls for fuel storage and transport of hazardous liquids.
Main duties, but not limited too & responsibilities: Provide field service support to include preventative and corrective maintenance of Electronic Overfill Prevention, Static Grounding and Vehicle Identification Systems Investigate, diagnose, and resolve customer technical issues via phone and at customer site.
Repair where required product warranty returns at facility workshop.
Commissioning of new equipment.
Respond to customer product inquiries.
Repair, test and maintain equipment.
Make recommendations to customer maintenance technicians.
Assist in providing technical input to customer proposals, projects and presentations.
Approximately sixtypercent travel within UK & Ireland with nights away and office-facility based.
Arranging customer visits and planning trip itinerary to assigned locations for service maintenance annual visits with support from Technical Manger.
Provide technical; presentations/training/workshop sessions at customer site Product assembly work where requirement arises.
Attend trade show/conferences if required for Technical Sales support.
Required Qualifications & Experience BTEC ONC or 2361 City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in electronics/electrical engineering.
Min 2/3 Years experience in an electrical or field service environment.
Ability to read and work with schematics & experience with various electronic testing equipment and procedures.
Relevant Engineering experience in the transportation or petroleum industries would be a benefit.
Confidence to interact at all levels.
Ability to work independently, or as part of a team.
Ability; to follow procedures, critical thinking, process improvement.
