Interim M&A Project Lead

We’re supporting a well-known, global consumer brand on help on a number of key M&A projects - disposals and acquisitions.
These are live transaction with a lot of moving parts across the business, so they need someone to come in and help bring structure, pace and control to the process.
This role sits right in the middle of it all, making sure the deal progresses smoothly and lands as it should.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of the delivery plan across the transaction, from early stages through to completion and day one readiness.
Working across finance, legal, people, property and operations, you’ll help keep everything aligned and moving forward.
It’s a hands-on role, focused on execution and delivery rather than strategy.
What you’ll be doing
* Owning and managing the end-to-end deal plan
* Coordinating timelines across due diligence, legal, TUPE and operational readiness
* Working closely with internal teams, advisors and the counterparty
* Keeping track of progress, risks and key milestones
* Supporting completion planning and day one delivery
What we’re looking for
You’ll have been involved in transactions before and understand how they work in practice.
This could come from:
* Qualified Accountant
* M&A or Corporate Finance
* Big 4 Deals / Transaction Services
* In-house M&A or corporate development
* Or a commercial finance role with genuine hands-on deal experience
More important than background is your ability to manage complexity, work across teams and keep things moving.
