Regional Manager - Regional Manager- London & Tunbridge Wells Are you a strategic, people-focused leader with a proven track record in multi-site operations? We're seeking a Regional Manager to take ownership of the commercial, strategic, and operational delivery across a dynamic and diverse region. What we need from you: To lead and develop a team that understands and lives our Fusion mission, vision and values across their areas of responsibility Be the lead on the strategic, commercial and operational delivery of Fusion’s business plan Take the lead the development and implementation of Annual Contract plans You will oversee the development and implementation of, and compliance with, divisional annual financial plans Influence and support the overall process of management and corporate decision-making to ensure each division maximises its short, medium- and long-term profitability You will oversee compliance, monitoring, reporting and communication of financial and physical resources and all administrative functions You will build, lead and support effective, cohesive contract management and regional support teams to deliver individual and contract objectives for areas of responsibility Oversee the implementation, maintenance and management of an effective system of controls throughout the operations, covering both financial and non-financial aspects of the business Work together with General Managers and other regional support staff, lead the effective resourcing of centres, ensuring the efficient delivery of development plans, contractual terms and conditions and business objectives Ensure compliance with systems, processes and procedures always, as per Fusion policies and procedures Ensure Customer and Client Relationship Management strategies are fully delivered in all contracts Work in conjunction with the People Team to implement effective recruitment, people management, development, retention and succession planning strategies Always role model first-class regional management Provide ad-hoc leadership and development support of future/junior/newly appointed Regional Managers as directed by the senior and executive leadership team Essential criteria: You must have extensive multi-site management experience, including leadership of a large workforce, preferably in the service, leisure or hospitality sector You will have a proven track record of financial planning and achievement of challenging financial targets and cost savings Have lead on significant change management experience, including cultural integration and management of restructures Have experience in client liaison and relationship building ideally have experience working in the public sector and/ or a unionised environment Skills First-class leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams to be the best and own an organisation’s mission, vision and values Problem-solving and analytical skills, Good understanding of corporate finance, forecasting and budget management Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects, including capital projects on time and to target Superb negotiation and influencing skills Excellent IT skills Ability to nurture and develop senior leaders Knowledge In-depth working knowledge of employment law and HR best practice Active affiliation with appropriate networks and organisations and ongoing community involvement Extensive understanding of the charity’s operating environment Up-to-date knowledge of sector priorities and strategies such as Sport England’s ‘Uniting the Movement’ Ability to have responsibility for concurrent projects and programmes The ability to carry out and prioritise business analysis The post holder should have exceptional interpersonal, analytical and project management skills coupled with the creative ability to identify avenues of new opportunity for future growth and business expansion Behaviours People-focused Assertive and clear about expectations Results-driven High level of expectation of peers and team members Fair and supportive Focused and passionate about the personal and professional development of self and team A solutions-focused team player with a “make it happen” attitude Resilient Excellent ethical and moral working practices Accountable Flexibility with regard to location/ working hours to suit business needs Committed to ongoing personal development Click to apply This job advertisement is not intended to serve as a full job description, and is therefore non-exhaustive.
