Job Description:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the needs of all pupils.
Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress regularly.
Work closely with year group colleagues, phase leaders, and support staff.
Establish strong classroom routines and promote positive behaviour for learning.
Take part in staff meetings, planning sessions, training days, and whole-school events.
Engage in the school’s ECT induction programme and be open to ongoing CPD.
Our Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold or be working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (ECT status required by September 2025).
Be passionate about primary education and committed to supporting every child’s development.
Be proactive, reflective, and eager to grow professionally.
Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Be confident with classroom and behaviour management strategies.
Be enthusiastic about contributing to the wider school community.
Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
