Hawick Support Practitioner
Earn up to £26,526.23 per year pro rata. Part‑time (30, 25 & 20 hour) contracts available.

At Ark, all Support Practitioners are paid at least the Real Living Wage, currently £13.45 per hour (£25,947.47 pro rata). After successfully completing your probation period, your hourly rate increases to £13.75 (£26,526.23 pro rata). We recognise the responsibility of this role, and have chosen to build in a clear and guaranteed pay progression – reflecting the commitment, skill and consistency it takes to do this job well.

About the Service
The Hawick service provides support to individuals within the town, enabling them to live full lives and be involved in the local community. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team and promote independence and life skills to our supported people. We are actively involved in activities and groups in Hawick and support a wide range of people with their day‑to‑day living. Responsibilities
* Work with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
* Communicate and work well with our supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
* Be responsible in supporting individuals throughout the activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
* Update and maintain accurate records using a tablet on Ark’s Information Management system.
