Senior Quantity Surveyor – Wigan
We're partnered with a leading £60m turnover utilities contractor delivering projects across the UK, working with leading housebuilders, local authorities, and Tier 1 contractors. With over 20 years of experience, they are an award‑winning business with a strong track record and a secure pipeline of work.
Due to continued expansion, we are looking to appoint two Senior Quantity Surveyors to strengthen our commercial team.
The Role
You will take ownership of multiple civils and utilities projects, managing all commercial aspects from pre‑contract through to final account, while working closely with operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Full commercial management of projects
* Cost reporting and forecasting
* Subcontract procurement and management
* Managing variations, claims, and final accounts
* Supporting and mentoring junior staff
Requirements
* Proven experience within civils or utilities is essential
* Experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple projects
* JCT or NEC experience
