Job Description
Key Responsibilities.
Receive, handle, and process goods-in, including import documentationProcess orders for despatch (Goods Out), including export documentationLiaise with couriers and resolve delivery issuesStay up to date with dangerous goods regulations and guidelinesEnsure all dangerous goods are shipped in accordance with IATA and ADR regulationsManage stock control and stock movements between warehouses using SageConduct bi-annual stock-takesCommunicate with suppliers regarding product quality and pricingRaise purchase orders for building and office suppliesRaise purchase orders for packaging supplies for Goods OutSupport the Facilities Manager with building maintenance planning and safety complianceAssist with vendor and contract management for cleaning, security, and repair services
Deal with and respond to emailsCompile work ordersHandle HMRC import/export processes when requiredArrange Inward Processing Relief (IPR) for repairs received from outside the UKEnsure compliance with Group Export Control Policy and proceduresMaintain up-to-date records for utilitiesPerform general administrative dutiesCarry out any other tasks as required by the Manager and Company
Key Skills & Knowledge
Working knowledge of inventory management, order fulfilment, and transportation logisticsBasic knowledge of building and planning maintenance (HVAC, electrical, and plumbing)Working knowledge of import and export for domestic and international markets, including customsExperience with SAGE X3 or similar ERP systemsProficient in Microsoft Office 365, including TeamsFamiliar with courier web services (UPS WorldShip, MyDPD, FedEx Ship Manager)Working knowledge of barcoding for goods in/outGood understanding of stock controlBasic knowledge of export controlStrong administrative and organisational skillsHigh attention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication skills
