KEY ACTIVITIES - Pre-Job preparation of equipment and installation procedures. - Competent engineer, working as an individual or as part of an installation crew. - Installation of products in line with company procedures. - Ensure project management objectives are met. - Assist in the planning of installation activities to ensure installation success. - Aid in the preparation of supporting documentation for all aspects of surface equipment including Operation Manuals, Hook-up Drawings, System Diagrams, Installation & Commissioning Procedures, Work packages, Configuration Records and End of Well reports. - Maintain the Project Folders and all supporting documentation. - Support ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting and upgrades for installations. - Always adhere to company and clients HSE requirements and local legislation and actively participate in promoting a safe working environment. INDIVIDUAL QHSE RESPONSIBILITIES - To demonstrate commitment to the quality of service, including quality of records produced, aiming at meeting and exceeding customer expectations. - To demonstrate personal commitment to protection of Health, Safety and the Environment. - To follow company QHSE Policy, relevant operational procedures, HSE procedures and risk assessments. - To communicate and report on any perceived non-conformances or faults in the service provided or in the company’s Quality or HSE Management Systems. QUALIFICATIONS Essential: HND/Degree in engineering, electronics or applicable relevant experience. Preferred: Optical / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering Degree. EXPERIE NCE / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE Essential: - Offshore background experience in both upper and lower completions. - Significant field experience in both offshore and onshore environments. - Substantial Interventions experience with a good all rounder knowledge of the oil and gas industry. - Competent in Microsoft Packages. - Experience in working alongside clients and able to hold pre job meetings and TBTs. - Basic understanding of upstream production products in the oil and gas. Preferred: - Downhole electronic tool experience (assembling and deploying) for example memory tools or electric line logging tools, electronic gauges. - Oilfield Reservoir Monitoring & Data Acquisition Systems, fibre optical experience or knowledge. - Filtering device knowledge such as Sand and Inflow Control Screens, Valves. - Zonal Isolation knowledge such as Packers. - Experience in wireline / electric line logging, memory logging and hanging device setting. - A good all round working knowledge in the use of Lithium Batteries. - An understanding of shipping materials and equipment to and from location. - Current BOSIET and MIST. - Familiar with ISSOW systems. - Current UK medical certificate. - Valid Passport for Visa applications. PERSONAL QUALITIES - Ability to plan, control and take responsibility for own work and related decisions - Problem solving approach and a ‘get it right first time’ attitude - Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and good teamwork skills - Strong ability to perform well under pressure of a high and varied workload, tight deadlines and changing job priorities - Attention to detail in all aspects of the job role and have a desire to build and maintain high level of professional relationships with clients. - Candidates should be able to reliably commute to our Aberdeen office, as the role will be office-based when not working offshore.
